Bhubaneshwar railway station gets Wi-Fi

Bhubaneshwar, Apr 18 (IBNS) As part of his government's Digital India drive, Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu inaugurated Wi-Fi services in Bhubaneshwar Railway station on Sunday.

Prabhu was quoted in the media as saying that he plans to provide 400 stations with this facility, 100 of which will be completed by the end of this year.

The services are provided by a joint initiative undertaken by tech giant Google and RailTel Corporation.

Meanwhile,another report stated that Kochi's Ernakulam Junction too was now a high speed Wi-Fi zone.

Reports have further stated that the high speed will allow users to browse through HD videos, and downloading a movie will take a little more than four minutes.
