Bengal polls: 18.02 percent voters turnout till 9 a.m.

Kolkata, Apr 21 (IBNS) As the third phase of polling is underway in West Bengal on Thursday, a 18.02 percent voter turnout was recorded till 9 a.m.

Over 1.37 crore voters are expected to cast their votes in Murshidabad, Burdwan and Nadia districts, along with Kolkata North to decide the fates of 418 candidates in 62 constituencies.

14.71 percent voter turnout was recorded in North Kolkata.

17.01 percent voting was recorded in Burdwan, while Nadia recorded a turnout of 18.09 percent.

Murshidabad had a decent turnout of 20.53 percent.

Around 1000 complaints have been lodged so far.
