AC on Air India flight malfunctions

New Delhi, July 3 (IBNS): Passengers flying in New Delhi-bound Air India flight from Bagdogra found themselves in tough situation when the air conditioner system in the plane allegedly malfunctioned, reports said.

The air-conditioners did not function despite complains made by passengers to the crew members present in the plane, reports said.

The flight reportedly had 168 passengers on board.

The flight made safe landing in New Delhi.

In a video that has gone viral, passengers were seen fanning themselves with in-flight magazines and aircraft safety cards.

“The AC in the flight was not working and many passengers started feeling uneasy and complained of breathlessness. One passenger tried to use the oxygen mask, but that too was not working. We conveyed the same to a flight attendant and she said the issue will get resolved in some time. After landing at the Delhi airport (at 3:50pm), the passengers waited for the captain and the crew members. It took them a long time to come out,” Debasmita Basak, a passenger, told CNN-News18.
