19-yr-old boy killed in Gaya for overtaking politician's car
Gaya, May 8 (IBNS): A 19-year-old boy in Bihar's Gaya, was killed on Saturday night, for allegedly overtaking the car in which a Janata Dal (United) politician's son was traveling, media reports said.
The victim, identified as Aditya Sachdeva, son of a businessman, was shot dead while he was travelling in a car with his friend.
Aditya had recently appeared for his class 12 exams.
He allegedly overtook the Range Rover that belonged to JD(U) leader Manorama Devi, who is also a member of Bihar's Legislative Council.
Her husband Bindi Yadav is a 'notorious' strongman, said reports.
Aditya's friend, who was with him in the car, has told the police that Rocky, the politician's son, and his bodyguard started firing to stop them soon after they overtook their SUV.
Rocky is currently on run. The police have managed to arrest the bodyguard, Rajesh Kumar, who was with him in the car.
