Ranveer Singh joins Ray-Ban: Dhurandhar star becomes brand’s first India ambassador

| @indiablooms | Oct 05, 2026, at 01:01 am

Ray-Ban and Ray-Ban Meta have announced actor Ranveer Singh, star of “Dhurandhar”, as their first brand ambassador in India.

“Ray-Ban has always stood for individuality, and that is something I have connected with for as long as I can remember. Style, for me, has never been about following a fixed formula – it is about instinct, mood and having the freedom to express every version of yourself,” Ranveer Singh said.

He added, “A combination of these iconic styles and cutting-edge technology with Ray-Ban Meta makes this partnership feel so natural. Ray-Ban’s incredible legacy of people who have done things their own way, along with Meta’s vision of building AI glasses for everyone, makes me excited to be a part of that story in India.”

Ray-Ban Meta glasses are designed to make everyday activities more seamless, allowing users to listen to music and podcasts, make hands-free calls and access Meta AI. The glasses are also set to receive regular software updates, new AI features and an expanding ecosystem of apps and experiences.

Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3) now available in India

Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3) is the latest generation of the company's AI glasses. The new model combines the technology users have come to expect from Ray-Ban Meta with a slimmer and more comfortable design, longer battery life and a customisable action button for instant access to Meta AI.

The glasses are available in 27 colour and lens combinations across three styles: Aviator, Zena, a new cat-eye frame, and Wayfarer. To mark the 90th anniversary of the Ray-Ban Aviator, the company is also introducing a limited-edition Aviator in a vintage-inspired colourway.

Gen 3 offers up to nine hours of battery life, an hour more than the previous generation, along with professionally adjustable temple tips for a better fit.

A new six-microphone array reduces background noise by more than 90%, helping deliver clearer calls and voice commands even in windy or crowded environments.

The glasses feature a 12MP camera capable of recording 3K Ultra HD video, allowing users to capture photos and videos hands-free and share them with others. A new Dynamic Photos feature lets users select the best frame to create a standout image.

As with previous generations, the glasses feature a built-in LED indicator to help alert people nearby when photos or videos are being captured.

Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3) is available in India through Meta, Ray-Ban and consumer electronics, optical and eyewear retailers, with prices starting at ₹44,300.
