Kolkata, Aug 14 (IBNS): One is credited with taking Indian classical music to the world stage and the other has satiated thousands of taste buds, concocting global gastronomical delights with Indian delicacies.

And now the two have come together to offer a novel Jugalbandi—"Strings & Palate" .

Music interspersed with masterly cooking and the jugalbandi produced classics like

Bhatiyali Ilish related Bengal's most loved fish with the tunes of Folk Bengal.

The maestro took the audience to the hills of Himalayas with his Raag Pahadi which  intermingled with Master Chef's Garhwali Chicken was followed by the more classical notes of Raag Kirwani ( in Jazz style) synchronizing with Sawaal Jawab and the Chef's Continental Classic dish symbolizing global music and international cuisine.

The grand finale was Sweet Bollywood where Maestro Bhattacharya played a melody from Bollywood matching Chef's dessert as a finale.

The duo plans to take this on an International stage very soon and STRINGS & PALATE is being unveiled for the audience for the First time in Kolkata.
