Monkey Bar bowls 'Full Toss' as the T-20 cricket season unfolds

Kolkata, Apr 5 (IBNS): Monkey Bar of Kolkata joins its pan-India mates in celebrating the the T-20 cricket series with live screening of matches, contests and games, a menu covering regional dishes, and special deals on cocktails and beers.

The Monkey Bar 'Full Toss' will take place between April 7 and May 27 across Kolkata, Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai.

Integrating regional favourites into their specially curated menu, the gastro-pub is sure to keep fans of all the teams happy.

Menu highlights include Mumbai Malvani ChickenTacos (multigrain flour thalipeeth tacos with Malvani style chicken sukka and coconut chutney); Chennai Pulled Pork Paniyaram (pulled pork served on a base of fried Vellai Paniyaram); Rajasthan Dahi ke Pithore (semolina crusted hung curd and gram flour cakes on a bed of greenpea masala served with sweet yogurt and date & tamarind chutney); Delhi’s Butter Chicken Samosa; Kolkata Fish Fry (crumb coated fried bekti fillet served with kasundi mayo and pui shak); Hyderabad Nagarjuna Chilli Chicken Roll (Nagarjuna inspired chilli chicken, wrapped in a paratha and served with coconut chutney); Punjab Sarson Di Shammi (sarson and soy cooked with Punjabi garam masala and served with Makai phulka, ghee and aachar);and  Bangalore Prawns Chilli, Butter Garlic (Bangalore style butter garlic sauce tossed prawns served with crispy chips).

And when all that shouting and screaming makes you thirsty, fall back on the 1.5 litres of Mojito or Mangaa pitchers or a range of spirits. Or simply order a beer bucket of five. There are cocktails and shots to celebrate that win or drown the disappointment of loss.

There are also free cocktails for all fans wearing jerseys of their favourite team playing on a particular day and free shots for those wearing the winning team jerseys on that day.

Who says you can’t play if you are not on the field? Monkey Bar has some indoor games too.
