Madame Tussauds to open in Delhi next year?

New Delhi, Mar 19 (IBNS) Iconic wax museum Madame Tussauds is planning to open a branch in Indian capital New Delhi next year, media reports said.

Alex Cameron, marketing manager for Madame Tussauds told The Hindu: "Madame Tussauds Delhi is planned to be the first Merlin attraction to open in India, and the aim is to coincide its opening with next year’s Independence celebrations."

India will celebrate its 70th Independence Day in 2017.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will soon be able to join a new list of global leaders who have their statues installed at the iconic wax museum -Madame Tussauds.
