Kolkata/IBNS: South City Mall in Kolkata, which recently celebrated its 13th birthday, lined up a string of activities to mark the anniversary.

The popular mall began to attract visitors as it reopened with all safety measures in place.

But keeping the pandemic situation in mind, they decided to hold most of the birthday related events remotely, with contests on social media and on radio, with gift vouchers as prizes.

However, some key events, such as a cake cutting ceremony, were held on the nicely decorated premises of the mall.

There was also a sale organised as part of the birthday celebration.

South City Mall recently had a makeover and houses popular Indian and global brands, such as Zara, Mango, Marks and Spencer, Sephora, Hunkmoller, The Gap, The Body Shop, Vero Moda, Ritu Kumar,  and others.
