'We will strike inside homes, RSS camps in future’: Pak Defence Minister issues direct warning to India

Tensions between India and Pakistan have sharply escalated after Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif issued an unusually direct and aggressive warning, signaling that any future conflict could spill deep into Indian territory.

He indicated that the scope of confrontation would go far beyond past limits.

The statement followed a stern warning from Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who on Thursday cautioned Pakistan that any provocation at the border would be met with a swift and unprecedented response.

‘Conflict won’t be limited!’

Asif warned that any future conflict would not remain confined to border areas.

He said Pakistani forces would be prepared to strike deeper into Indian territory, expanding the scale of engagement significantly, Zee News reported

In his remarks, Asif warned of attacks “inside homes” and mentioned targets such as RSS camps.

“Now we will enter their homes and strike them,” he said, emphasizing a more direct and intensified response if hostilities resume.

The minister also referred to previous confrontations, warning that any renewed conflict would result in “greater humiliation” for India.

Why does this raise concern?

Such rhetoric signals a potential shift toward more aggressive military posturing in the region.

It also risks further heightening tensions between two nuclear-armed neighbors.

What’s at stake

The comments are likely to draw strong reactions from India and the international community.

They come amid already sensitive relations, where any escalation could have serious regional consequences.
