US: Several hurt during shooting inside Michigan State University

Michigan: Multiple people were injured in a shooting incident at the Michigan State University on Monday.

The Michigan State University Department of Police and Public Safety has released an image of the suspect on Twitter.

The Michigan State University Department of Police and Public Safety issued a safety alert at 8:31 p.m. Monday following gunshots reported outside Berkey Hall, telling students and residents to shelter in place, reports The Michigan Daily.

The MSU Police described the suspect as 'a Black male, shorter in stature, red shoes, jean jacket, wearing a baseball cap that is navy with a lighter brim'.

Police said the victims are being given treatment.
