Suspected thieves barged into a Hindu temple in Pakistan's Mirpur Khas city and took away an unspecified number of religious and other costly articles on Friday.

According to local media personnel, the thieves attacked and injured the temple’s watchman, Dur Mohammad Baloch, with sharp objects before entering the worship place, reported Dawn News.

The watchman was later taken to the District Headquarters Hospital for treatment, they said.

No case has been filed in connection with the incident so far.
