Royal baby named Charlotte Elizabeth Diana

London, May 4 (IBNS): Prince Williams and the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton have named their girl child, who was born on Saturday, as Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, officials said on Monday.

The British Monarchy posted on its Facebook page: "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to announce that they have named their daughter Charlotte Elizabeth Diana."

"The baby will be known as Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge," it said.

The baby was born on Saturday in Lindo Wing of London's St Mary's Hospital.

Prince Williams and Kate Middleton's first child Prince George   was born in 2013.

Prince William had married Kate Middleton in 2011 after a long courtship.
