Pakistan: Road mishap kills seven people

Islamabad, Oct 23 (IBNS): A van carrying petrol and a truck collided close to Mach in Bolan district of Pakistan's Balochistan area on Tuesday and left at least seven people killed, media reports said.

Police officials told Geo News the van carrying petrol collided with a truck near the Quetta-Sibi National Highway. 

Five people died at the spot of the mishap.

Two others were injured and were shifted to a hospital where they succumbed to their wounds, reported Geo News.

Three cars which were parked nearby caught fire following the incident.

“The petrol in the van was being taken from Quetta to Sibi,” police officials told the Pakistani news channel.
