Islamabad: More than 100  technical and vocational training centres are feared to be closed in Pakistan's  Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region due to lack of funds, media reports said.

The employees of technical and vocational centers have not received their salaries for four months due to the non-availability of funds, reports ANI reported quoting Urdu Point newspaper.

The Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority has written a letter to the concerned authorities to release the funds, as per Urdu Point.

The development occurs at a time when Pakistan is facing an acute financial crisis.
