Landi Kotal: A large number of  tribesmen protested in Landi Kotal region of Pakistan on Friday  against prolonged electricity load shedding.

The protesters gathered at the local grid station and chanted slogans against the staff for subjecting them to excessive load shedding and low voltage, reports Dawn News.

Loadshedding was occurring in the region at a time when the country is observing Iftaar.

They said most of the localities in Landi Kotal, including mosques, were facing water shortage. They demanded of the grid station staff to ensure at least eight hours of power supply during the fasting month, reports Dawn News.
