Lahore/IBNS: At least one person was killed as a blast rocked Pakistan's Lahore city on Saturday, media reports said.

The blast left six others hurt.

A police spokesperson told Dawn News that an initial investigation suggests that the blast, which occurred at an electronics shop, took place as gas was being filled in an airconditioner.

The deceased person was identified as Hafiz Mahmood.

Bomb disposal squads, along with rescue officials, reached the venue following the blast.

The injured people were rushed to hospital for treatment.
