Pakistan: Awami Action Committee demonstrate against load shedding, food crisis in Skardu

Skardu, Pakistan: The Gilgit-Baltistan based Awami Action Committee (AAC) recently demonstrated in Skardu city of Pakistan against repeated and prolonged power shedding and a crisis of food items, amidst heavy snowfall in the region.

Speakers, during the protest, said that the Pakistani state has failed to provide even the basic necessities of life to the people of Gilgit-Baltistan, reports ANI.

The participants said the protest will continue for the protection of their basic economic, political and social rights.

Najaf Ali, Shabbir Mayar and others participated in the event.
