Pakistan: 20 killed in Parachinar clothes market blast

Peshawar, Dec 13 (IBNS): A blast hit clothes market in Kurram Agency's Parachinar area in Pakistan that killed at least 20 people on Sunday, media reports said.

The blast left several others injured.

Hospital sources told DawnNews that 55 people were injured as a result of the blast out of which more than 15 victims are in critical condition.

Several people were present in the shop when the blast occurred.

A Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) official told DawnNews that, "It was a timed device bomb. Around 30 to 35 kilograms of explosives were used in the blast."
