Pakistan: 2 killed in suicide attack, JUI-F chief escapes unhurt

Quetta, Oct 23 (IBNS) Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) escaped unhurt as suspected suicide bomber detonated his explosives outside the rally in Pakistan's Quetta city on Thursday, media reports said.

At least two people were killed while several others were injured in the attack.

"Banned militant group Jundallah has claimed responsibility for the attack," Dawn News reported.

Inspector General Police Muhammad Amlaish Khan told Dawn News: "The bomber blew himself up when he failed to climb the vehicle and was stopped by JUI workers."
