'Optimistic' about Delhi Dialogue, says Taliban spokesperson

Kabul/UNI: Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid said the Islamic Emirate “is optimistic” about the Delhi Security Dialogue on Afghanistan being held in India.

According to Tolo News, Mujahid, at a press conference in Kabul referred to the regional meeting on Afghanistan in India and said the Islamic Emirate "is optimistic" about it.

The Delhi Regional Security Dialogue on Afghanistan saw the participation of the security chiefs of eight countries, including India, Russia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

The Taliban are participating in the Troika Plus meeting in Islamabad on Thursday in which the special representatives of Russia, China, the US and Pakistan are participating.
