Nepali President mourns Lata Mangeshkar's death

Kathmandu:  Nepal President Bidya Devi Bhandari joined the rest of her admirers in remembering late Indian singer Lata Mangeshkar who died in Mumbai on Sunday.

Tweeting in Nepali, the President said she was left deeply hurt due to the death of the iconic singer.

Tributes poured in for India's singing sensation Lata Mangeshkar who passed away on Sunday morning at the age of 92 leaving her fans and the entire nation mourning.

Lata Mangeshkar passed away at 8.12 am at Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital where she was treated for coronavirus disease.

Her last rites were performed in Mumbai.
