Nepal PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal resigns

Kathmandu, May 24 (IBNS): In a major development, Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal announced his resignation from the post on Wednesday.

He made the announcement while addressing the nation.

He paved the way for Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba to lead the government after resigning from the post, media reports said.

The Himalayan Times reported:"Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has announced his resignation while addressing the nation, adding that he would go to the President’s Office  to tender his resignation today itself."
