Easter ceremony was held in the nation to remember those killed in the mishap.

Country's President Uhuru Kenyatta said in a statement: "Our security forces responded and killed 4 of the terrorists while arresting 5. I commend the three officers who paid the ultimate price in their selfless ser!ice to Kenya."

"I also want to assure the families, that government will support all possible support to the victims," he said.

He said: "We'll not allow them (terrorists) to continue their lives as normal."

The attack took place on Thursday.  Al-Shabab terrorists attacked the campus after dawn on Thursday and later took refuge in a dormitory with hostages.

While mostly students were killed, about 79 were injured. Over 500 were rescued though from the clutches of the terrorists.
