ISIS group member arrested from Afghanistan

Kabul, May 10 (IBNS): Security officials in Afghanistan have arrested a wounded terrorist group ISIS member following a brief clash in eastern Nangarhar province of the country, media reports said.

The 201st Silab Corps of the Afghan Military in a statement said a group of ISIS militants were attempting to shift one of their wounded members to a health facility in Wazir Tangi area of Khogyani district when they were ambushed by security forces, Khaama Press reported.

The statement further added that the ISIS militants were forced to retreat and flee the area after a brief clash leaving behind their wounded comradem reported the news  agency.

ISIS has not commented on the issue so far.
