Internet goes nuts over Trump's global warming tweet

Washington DC, Jan 29 (IBNS): It is well known that US President Donald Trump believes climate change and global warming are hoaxes. He reasserted the fact in a recent tweet.

"In the beautiful Midwest, windchill temperatures are reaching minus 60 degrees, the coldest ever recorded. In coming days, expected to get even colder. People can’t last outside even for minutes. What the hell is going on with Global Waming? Please come back fast, we need you!" the President tweeted.

Unsurprisingly, reactions came in waves from among his 57.8 million followers on Twitter.

"Global Warming & Climate Change is a 100% hoax. Of course the earths climate has always changed long before humans. The notion that we must pay “carbon taxes” that line the pockets of elites like Al Gore who flies around in private jet is laughable. Who believes this nonsense?" wrote @TheRightMelissa, evidently a Trump supporter.

@williamlegate wrote: "Weather isn’t climate. They teach this in 5th grade science."

"Glad you asked! The polar vortex is supposed to stay at the north pole but dwindling sea ice (from climate change) has caused the vortex to split in three places, and that's why it's cold down here. Polar vortex splits like this will become more common as climate change worsens," @aSciEnthusiast replied to Trump.

@RyanHillMI said: "To think he was just tweeting about "literacy" in our schools earlier today! Maybe they should mandate climate literacy— clearly he could use a few classes!"
