Dhaka: 1 killed in homemade bomb explosions

Dhaka, Oct 24 (IBNS): At least one person as killed in homemade bomb explosions in old Dhaka on Saturday, media reports said.

The incident has left 87 others injured.

The incident occurred at a time when when members of Shia community were gathering at the Huseni Dalan building.

Hours later, people were supposed to bring out the  traditional Tajia procession to mark the holy Ashura.

Rab Additional Director General Col Ziaul Ahsan told The Daily Star: "We think these blasts were done to create a chaotic situation in the country."
