Regina, Apr 16 (IBNS): To support the mental health programme organised by Saskatchewan's Junior Hockey League (SJHL), Canadian clothing brand 22Fresh has agreed to unveil a new line in the honour of Humboldt Broncos, which had encountered an accident leading to the death of its 16 members, media reports said.

The league approached the president of 22Fresh, Kip Simon, if his company could create a new line and raise the funds of the mental health programme.

SJHL president Bill Chow has been quoted by CBC News, "We've had a lot of requests for apparel from all over North America."

"We're trying to meet requests that we didn't know were going to come. We're trying to think about things that we didn't know we were going to have to think about and do things as best as we can."

The clothes will be available to the customers through 22Fresh website, its store The Locker Room and 150 locations of store chin Federated Co-op, which is an associate in the programme.

The first set of clothes will arrive by the end of the next week and more than 10,000 in the next shipment.

The programme has been started by SJHL along with Federated Co-op to provide prayers and couselling to all the victims and their families.

Sixteen people including Humboldt Broncos head coach, Darcy Haugan, have been killed as a bus carrying the junior hockey team crashed with a truck in Saskatchewan highway on Apr 6.

The victims include players Adam Herold, Connor Lukan, Evan Thomas, Jacob Leicht, Jaxon Joseph, Logan Boulet, Logan Hunter, Logan Schatz, Stephen Wack, Parker Tobin, team personnel Brody Hinz, Darcy Haugan, Glen Doerksen, Mark Cross and Tyler Beiber.

The team was on its way to Game 5 of a semi-final against the Nipawin Hawks.
