Canada: Preparations underway in Fredericton for arrival of thousands of police officers to mourn

Fredericton, Aug 17 (IBNS): Preparations are underway in Fredericton for the arrival of thousands of police officers, first responders and dignitaries, who will attend the regimental funeral services of officers killed in the shooting, which took place in the city last week, media reports said.

Four people were killed in the shooting.

Among the deceased, two were officers. The officers were Const. Robb Costello (45) and Const. Sara Mae Burns (43).

On Thursday, several visitors queued in front of the Fredericton Convention Centre to offer their condolences to the deceased.

The third person killed was Donnie Robichaud (42), a father of three.

Police also released the name of the fourth victim.

She has been identified as Bobbie Lee Wright. The fourth victim was 32 years of age.

Vincent Raymond (48), the suspect, has been charged with four counts of first-degree murder.
