Canada: Man dies in tornado in Manitoba

Winnipeg, Aug 4 (IBNS): A man has died in a tornado which touched down near Alonsa, Manitoba, on Friday night, media reports said.

The deceased has not been identified yet. He was 70.

Alonsa Rural Municipality Reeve Stan Asham told CTV News that the tornado created significant damage in Margaret Bruce Beach.

Several people shared pictures on social media.

Facebook user in the name of Vanessa Lambourne Whyte shared several pictures on the social networking site.

He captioned the pictures saying, "Tornado at Margaret Bruce Beach, east of Alonsa, MB, by Silver Ridge, MB August 3, 2018"
