Blast in Pakistan train kills 16

Sibi, Apr 8 (IBNS): At least 16 people were killed and several others were injured in a blast inside the bogie of Jaffer Express at Sibi Railway Station in Pakistan's Baluchistan province on Tuesday, media reports said.

The bomb, which was  planted inside a washroom in the train, went off as it  arrived at the station.

Divisional Superintendent Railways Quetta, Mohammad Ashraf told Geo News following the blast fire sparked in the bogie resulting in the deaths.

He said fire had spread to three other bogies of the train.

"The outlawed United Baloch Army has claimed responsibility for the attack," Geo News reported.
