Bangladesh: Two suspected New JMB members arrested

Khulna/IBNS: Bangladesh police have arrested two suspected Jam'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (New JMB) members from the country's Khulna town, media reports said on Saturday.

They were arrested from Gollamari area of the city.

The arrestees are Nur Mohammad Anik, 24, and Muzahidul Islam Rafi, 23. Both claimed to be students of Khulna University during primary interrogation, Khulna Metropolitan Police Additional Deputy Commissioner Moniruzzaman Mithu told Dhaka Tribune.

Police said bomb-making materials were recovered from them.
