Bangladesh reports 15 new COVID-19 deaths

Dhaka/IBNS: Bangladesh has reported 15 more deaths due to COVID-19, media reports said on Friday.

With the fresh deaths reported in the past 24 hours, the death toll in the South Asian nation due to Coronavirus now stands at 75.

The tally of infections rose to 1,838 after another 266 new cases were detected in the same period, Health Minister Zahid Malik told bdnews24 on Friday.

The disease, which is believed to have originated from China, has now spread across the globe.
