Bangladesh: Fire erupts in Dhaka's Bangabazar market

Dhaka: A fire erupted in Bangabazar market in Dhaka city on Tuesday as firefighters rushed to the spot to douse the flame.

As many as 41 fire service units have been working to tame the blaze at the market, according to the Fire Service Control Room as quoted by bdnews24.

The fire broke out at the market adjacent to the headquarters of the Fire Service at around 6:10 am on Tuesday, Anwarul Islam Dolon, an official in the media department of the Fire Service, told the news portal.

Bangabazar is one of the biggest clothing markets in the city.
