Bangladesh crime: Youth stabbed to death in Dhaka

Dhaka: A youth was stabbed to death by unknown men in Bangladesh capital Dhaka on Sunday, media reports said.

The incident occurred in the capital’s Bakshibazar area under Chawkbazar police station around 12:30pm on Sunday, Chawkbazar police Sub-Inspector (SI) Mallik Abdul Halim told Dhaka Tribune.

The deceased person was identified as Nayan Ahmed Nadin.

The 20-year-old person was declared dead by duty doctors after he was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) around 1:15pm.  

Police also detained for questioning Nayan’s friend Sohan, 19, who was with him at the time of the attack, reports Dhaka Tribune.
