Balochistan journalist abducted by Pakistani police, claims family members

A journalist's family has alleged that he was abducted by police and plainclothed personnel in the Balochistan region of Pakistan, media reports said.

The abducted journalist was identified as Sher Khan Marri. He is a resident of Kohlu.

According to reports, Balochistan has been witnessing a spike in enforced disappearances in recent times.

Meanwhile, the media fraternity and his family members are demanding his quick recovery.

In a separate development, three men, Mujeeb son of Rasool Bakhsh, Amjad son of Deen Mohammad, and Waleed son of Nazar Mohammad, who had been missing for about a month from Tump in Kech district, were released, reported The Balochistan Post.
