Afghanistan: Three more coronavirus cases reported

Kabul/IBNS: Afghanistan on Saturday reported three more confirmed coronavirus cases, taking the number of patients infected by it to four.

The three new cases have been confirmed from  Herat province.

This brings the total reported cases of to "four" in Afghanistan, according to Public Health Minister Ferozuddin Feroz who addressed a press conference in Kabul on Saturday, reported Tolo News.

In the last 24 hours, the ministry reportedly tested samples of 36 suspected cases, three of which came back positive, and all from Herat, the ministry said in a statement, reported the news portal.

The patients have been kept in “isolation ward”.
