Afghanistan: NATO convoy attacked, 3 hurt

Kabul, Oct 11 (IBNS): A suicide attacker crashed his explosives-laden car into a NATO forces’ convoy on Sunday in Afghanistan's Kabul city which left three people injured.

The attack took place in Joi Sheer area falling in the second police district around 9am, damaging two NATO vehicles and injuring three Afghan civilians, including a woman, Kabul police chief Brig. Gen. Abdur Rahman Rahimi was quoted as saying Pajhwok Afghan News.

Foreign forces remained unhurt in the attack.

NATO’s Resolute Support (RS) mission spokesman US Army Colonel Brian Tribus told Pajhwok Afghan News the blast was caused by an improvised explosive device that hit one of their military convoys.
