Afghanistan: Nangarhar police chief killed in landmine blast
Kabul, Sept 12 (IBNS): An Afghanistan police chief has been killed in a landmine blast in country's Hesarak district on Sunday, media reports said on Monday.
Brig. Gen. Zarawar Zahid was the police chief of for eastern Nangarhar province in the country.
The Hesarak district chief, Haji Malako Khan, told Afghanistan's Pajhwok Afghan News that Zahid was travelling in the district to visit a security post when came under attack.
