Afghanistan: Kapsia blast leaves five people killed

Kabul: A car bomb blast in Afghanistan's central Kapisa province on Sunday left at least five people killed, media reports said.

As many as nine people were injured in the incident.

Abdul ShayiqShurash, police spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the dead included three religious scholars and two others.

He said MirwaisKarim, head of the KapisaUlema Council, was among the nine people injured in the car bomb attack in Sayad market in the provincial capital, Mahmood Raqi.
