Afghanistan: German citizen shot dead in Kabul, Finish national abducted

Kabul, May 21 (IBNS): Unknown gunmen has shot dead a German national in Afghanistan capital Kabul, media reports said.

The gunmen also shot dead the German national's Afghan bodyguard.

A Finland citizen has been kidnapped, media reports said.

Acting MoI spokesman Najib Danish told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident happened in seventh police district on Saturday night.

He told both the slain and abducted nationals worked with an NGO. They lived in a guest house.

The deceased Afghanistan national has been identified as Abdul Shakoor.

Police have started investigating into the matter.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
