TaxiForSure slashes its fares by 40%
Kolkata, Oct 6 (IBNS): TaxiForSure, a cab aggregator, has announced that it has slashed fares for both sedan and hatchback categories on its platform by 40% in Kolkata.
Customers can now enjoy TaxiForSure cabs for Rs.8/km for both hatchbacks and sedan instead of the earlier Rs. 12/km and Rs 14/km respectively. Cabs can be booked with one touch on the TaxiForSure app or by calling 033-60601010 making it the only service to accept bookings from through a call-centre in the city.
In addition to slashing the fares, TaxiForSure has also increased its fleet size in the city to 3000 cabs across its hatchback and sedan categories, ensuring better availability of cabs along with affordable fares.
Night-time charges have also been removed which means customers can commute at the same rates at any time of the day, the company stated.
Speaking on the announcement, Pallav Singh, CEO, TaxiForSure, said, “At TaxiForSure, customer convenience is at the centre of all our initiatives and innovations. Offering a hassle free commute solution that is convenient and economical, have enabled us to become one of the most preferred personal transportation option in Kolkata. With the revised fares and increased availability of cabs, customers in Kolkata will not have to look beyond the TaxiForSure platform for their everyday transportation needs."
