West Indies in dire straits after losing four wickets in first session

At lunch, West Indies have put on 48 runs for the loss of four wickets.

The Caribbean side was trailing by 304 runs when they walked out to the field today.

The joy was short lived as rain forced the players to walk out of the park, allowing only three overs of play.

Once it resumed, Mohammad Shami swung the ball both ways to trouble the batsmen, though wickets eluded him.

A visibly set Kraigg Brathwaite (23) miscued a pull shot and fell prey to Amit Mishra, triggering the collapse.

Marlon Samuels (0) and Darren Bravo (20) was undone by Shami's discipline bowling.

Shami knocked Samuels' stumps to send the Jamaican back to the pavillion and followed it up with a brutal short pitched ball to take the winds off Bravo's sails.

Jermaine Blackwood (3) is at the crease and will resume batting post lunch.
