The IPL, which is usually held between March and June, was delayed in 2020 due to the Novel Coronavirus pandemic in India.

As the Covid-19 situation is still grim in the Asian country, the Indian cricket board had decided to move the mega T20 tournament out of the country.

The IPL 2020 will begin on Saturday with a clash between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians.
