Vijender Singh defends WBO Title

New Delhi, Dec 17 (IBNS): Defending his WBO Asia Pacific super middleweight title, Indian boxing sensation Vijender Singh knocked out Francis Cheka in the third round of his clash here on Saturday.


The victory made Singh extend his winning streak tio eight.

Singh was at his best on Saturday night and did not give a chance to his opponent to settle.

The stadium here cheered aloud to support Singh on his home turf.

The boxer from Tanzania had strong records to his graph before reaching here.

He had won 32 of his 43 bouts.

After the victory, Singh tweeted: "Thankyou all for your support ."
