U-19 World Cup: Australia win toss, elect to bowl first against India in quarterfinal

Potchefstroom/IBNS: Australia won the toss and elected to bowl first against India in the quarterfinal of Under-19 World Cup here on Tuesday.

India reached the quarterfinals on Friday by beating New Zealand by 44 runs (D/L method).

Earlier in the tournament, India had outplayed Sri Lanka and Japan in the group stage games.

On the other hand, Australia had suffered a loss against West Indies in the tournament but later won against Nigeria.
