New Delhi/Mumbai, Mar 26 (IBNS): As India crushed out of the World Cup after Australia defeated the current World Champions by 95 runs in the semi-final of the tournament here on Thursday, dejected fans took to the social media platform and expressed their anguish.
While there were some support for the team, there were huge criticisms for the players especially Indian Vice Captain Virat Kohli.
In a supportive tweet, iconic Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar tweeted: "Well played in the ICC World Cup Team India. A tough game today and a loss is always difficult to handle."

She was bullied on social media for her presence in the Sydney stadium during the match in which Kohli managed to get just one run after struggling for 13 balls.
An Aashish Khandelwal tweeted: "Anushka Sharma flew all the way from Mumbai to Sydney to watch her boy Virat Kohli bowl 1 over, drop 1 catch, and score 1 run!
