Sunrisers beat KKR in IPL eliminator

New Delhi, May 25 (IBNS): Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 22 runs in an IPL eliminator on Wednesday.

After posting 162 for eight runs,Sunrisers bowlers restricted KKR at 140 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs.

Gautam Gambhir  (28) and Manish Pandey (36) remained the top scorers for the side.

The remaining batsmen struggled in front of the Sunrisers attack.

Sunrisers bowlers did not allow KKR to accelerate the attack.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked up three wickets for Sunrisers.

Earlier, Sunrisers scored 162 for the loss of eight wickets.

Yuvraj Singh remaiend the top scorer for the side with his 44 runs.He hit eight boundaries and a six in his 30-ball knock.

Sunrisers' Kuldeep Yadav picked up three wickets.
