Gujarat Titans dominated the show to beat the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by seven wickets in an Indian Premier League group stage match on Sunday.

Mohammed Siraj picked up four wickets to restrict SRH to 152 for the loss of eight wickets, and then GT batsmen completed the task, with Shubman Gill (61) leading the run chase and reaching 153 runs by losing three wickets.

Gill played an inspirational knock of 43-ball 61, an innings laced with nine boundaries.

Washington Sundar (49) and Sherfane Rutherford (35) supported him at the other end of the crease.

Indian star pacer remained the only dominating bowler who picked up two wickets but hardly got support from the other end.

SRH captain Pat Cummins took a wicket.

Earlier, SRH struggled to score at a brisk pace and kept losing wickets at regular intervals.

GT pacer Siraj led the show and picked up four wickets to destroy the opponents.

Prasidh Krishna (2/25) and Sai Kishore (2/24) provided strong support to keep the SRH batsmen under check.

Despite a brief recovery led by Nitish Kumar Reddy (31) and Heinrich Klaasen (27), SRH crumbled from 100/3 to 120/6, and it was only a late cameo from skipper Pat Cummins (22 off 9) which helped the squad post a competitive 152/8 on the scorecard.
