Shreyas Iyer slams maiden ODI hundred against New Zealand

Hamilton/IBNS: Young Indian batsman Shreyas Iyer slammed his maiden One Day International (ODI) hundred against New Zealand as the men-in-blue are on the way to post a big total at Seddon Park here on Wednesday.

New Zealand won the toss in the first ODI and elected to bowl first.

Iyer, who had a 102-run partnership with skipper Virat Kohli, was dismissed at 103. 

Kohli was dismissed for 51 off 63 balls.

KL Rahul has also scored a half century.

India scored 298/4 at 46 overs.
